Why

#GivingStories?

Why Video?

Behind every donor is a story of why they give, and every single one of them—no matter how big or small—is important and needs to be heard. We’ve found that these stories have significant impact on other donors.

With support from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, we tested the impact of donors’ stories in video format on users of the GreatNonprofits website and found the following - Donor Stories Decreased Bounce Rates by 50% and Increased Donation-Related Activities by 100% (Read more about our tests, here.)

To ensure that we are sharing our learnings and helping donor circles to amplify their impact we have created this compilation of best practices in the form of two toolkits.
